Rubber Compounding
NBR compound mixed with carbon black and vulcanization agents in a Banbury mixer at controlled temperature.
Sole Injection Molding
Compound injected into dual-density mold. PU midsole bonded to rubber outsole under hydraulic pressure.
Upper Lasting
Ballistic nylon upper lasted over steel form. Heat-activated adhesive bonding at precise temperature window.
Steel Toe Seating
HSLA steel cap pressed into molded pocket. Compression fit verified against 75 ft-lb impact specification.
Vulcanization Cure
Final vulcanization in autoclave. Cross-linking density monitored by inline rheometer for batch consistency.
Quality Inspection Gate
Automated vision system checks dimensional tolerances ±0.3mm. Manual flex test on 5% random sample.
Force Curve Analysis
Third-party testing conducted at SGS Testing Lab, Atlanta. Every production lot sampled. Raw data available under NDA for qualified procurement contacts.
Six-Stage Inspection Audit
Every production lot passes six quality gates before leaving the plant. Pass rates below are rolling 12-month averages. No lot ships with a gate failure unresolved.
